The Enrollment Operations Assistant performs various functions within Undergraduate Admissions with emphasis on admission processing. This position is responsible for assisting with processing new applicants and new student enrollment data and actively collaborates with other university staff involved in various aspects of admissions and records processing, to ensure that related processes are completed in a timely manner.Duties/Responsibilities
Perform significant data entry, verification, updates, evaluations, and reviews using multiple student information databases to include the CRM.
Create queries in the CRM to assess critical data points needed or missing (such as student type, status, term, etc.).
Assist with performing data imports and exports from the CRM to support enrollment initiatives that may involve other campus units and divisions.
Handle telephone and email inquiries.
Perform duties involving document management, scanning, indexing, and verifying documents and data. Manage incoming mail, processes for marking documents as received and scanning materials after review.
May correspond with students about application statuses, questions, requests, or decisions rendered on applications, regarding admissions.
May track and pre-treat college transcripts, following procedural training, documentation and guidance from functional leads and supervisors.
Perform a broad array of admissions processing and customer service functions.
Maintain a strong working knowledge in various steps of the enrollment process including specialized areas such as financial aid, orientation, and advising.
Demonstrate strong team relationships by working collaboratively with direct team and other departments.
Assist Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions and/or Director of Undergraduate Admissions with special projects as identified.
Other duties as assigned.
